bp is buying EDF Vitality Companies (EDF ES) to increase its presence within the U.S. business and industrial (C&I) retail energy and gasoline enterprise. Primarily based in Texas, EDF ES is a provider of energy, pure gasoline and associated providers to C&I clients throughout the U.S. Its clients are primarily giant firms and public entities, together with retailers, universities, producers and producers, municipalities and energy turbines. It doesn’t provide residential customers.
EDF ES will combine with different bp companies and capabilities that may assist decarbonization objectives, together with bp Wind Vitality, bp pulse, and bp Launchpad.
